I've actually started.

I decided to actually start this project because i've been putting it off for awhile.

I've used photography for the people and photoshop different elements together to make it look crazy and weird but still slightly realistic.

My multicultural inspiration I took was I made the images that I felt were more important in this dream larger like the egyptians did, and I also layed the composition in strips which is anouther technique they used. I like that it looks really weird because this emphasises the dream, it will never make sense to anyone other than me.

Dream On..

Our next project is called: "Multi-Cultural modes of Depiction.

We have to illustrate either a dream diary or a visual diary of a day in our life, however we must use influences from ancient cultures that don't use linear perspective in their art.

I've chosen to do the dream idea so that I can use my imagination, so i've kept a dream diary for the last week, I dream alot more than I realised. Now i'm making myself remember my dreams I find I dream three or four times a night, and often about the craziest things or about people I haven't thought about for years like friends I had at primary school which I find most interesting.

I've also started interpreting my dreams using a dream dictionary. Not sure how accurate it is though because apparently everything in my dreams points to me "running away from my responsibilitys" and "not facing the truth!" Or maybe it is...

I've chosen to concentrate on the egyptians because I was always really interested in them when I was at school. I particually like how they make everybody beautiful in they're images even if they weren't. How nice of them.
